Enhancing Performance and Custom Tools for a Growing Gaming Brand
Godmode is a New Zealand-based PC builder run by Tom Wilkinson, who turned a lifelong passion for gaming and hardware into a trusted brand. With strong word-of-mouth and a clean Shopify setup already in place, Godmode was steadily gaining traction, but as traffic and orders grew, so did the need for a faster, more streamlined customer experience. That’s where we partnered with Tom to support the next phase of Godmode’s growth.
Overclocking the website
Our role was to fine-tune what was already working. We focused on improving site speed by auditing the theme, removing unnecessary code, and optimizing performance across the board. We also developed a custom PC part-picker tool to help customers confidently select the right build for their needs. It was all about adding efficiency and usability without disrupting the simplicity that makes Godmode accessible to non-technical buyers.
Today, Godmode’s site runs leaner, faster, and with more helpful tools built in making it easier for customers to explore, choose, and purchase their ideal setup. Tom still builds every machine by hand, and now he has a site that supports his workflow and scales with demand, all while keeping the customer experience front and centre.
